Fels - Charged (Digital)

“Charged” EP is composed of three tracks, all complementary to each other. The opening track, which carries the EP eponymous title like a standard of the work’s identity, immediately plunges the listener into Fels’ dark universe. A track made of tensions, which plays on the emotional and leads to an unbearable impatience. And finally, when the climax is reached, when the breaks are released, the deliverance arrives. Subtly constructed, “Charged” combines meticulousness and heavy atmosphere in such a way that the breath comes back to us only at the end of the piece. More luminous, “Awkward Ashes” reveals the club side of Fels, and his capacity to tame shattering rhythms of tenacity. Big break and glitch which marry marvelously with redemptive synths. Pushy, thrilling. The EP ends with “An End”, which could not be better named. An ode to mystery, departure and disintegration. A real sonic bottleneck, both mystical and brutal. We want it to go on, higher, stronger, further! An absolute favorite at BAC.
